Zachary Daniel Blackburn

Zachary Daniel “Bubba” Blackburn was born November 18, 1982 to Allen Wayne Blackburn and Angelina Sue (Cody) Blackburn Cole in McAlester, Oklahoma. He died Friday, February 10, 2012 in Sulphur at the age of 29 years 2 months and 22 days.

He graduated from Sulphur High School in 2001. He worked for RFD Construction of Sulphur. Zac always put others before himself and helped others when ever possible. He liked to draw and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Zac was preceded in death by grandfathers, Daniel Blackburn and Robert F. Cody.

He is survived by his mother, Sue Cole and father, Wayne Blackburn; grandmothers, Audrey Blackburn and Lenora Cody; siblings, Kalista LaChelle (Blackburn) Wilkins, J. Darren Cole and Alexandra Cole; aunts and uncles, Sally & James Henry, Rhonda & Kevin Davidson, Dan Blackburn and Bobby and Melanie Cody; cousins, Tiffany Cody, Kyla Beasley, Danielle Riegel, Brent Williams, Joshua Crittenden, Emmy and Aly Cody, Susan Blackburn and Forrest Henry; and Zac’s first nephew, James Hunter Wilkins.
Serving as pallbearers are Perry McCurley, Billy Joe Van Horn, Justin Ramer, Quinton Day, Quaine Day and Kendrick Phelps. Honorary bearers were Dustin O’Dell, Travis O’Dell, Brent Williams, Cole Hogg, Blake Hogg and Joshua Crittenden.
