Willis Dale Bill Fox

Willis Dale “Bill” Fox was born June 22, 1934 to Krennet and Irene R. (Donley) Fox in Mount Morris, Pennsylvania. He died Wednesday, September 5, 2012 in Sulphur at the age of 78 years, 2 months and 13 days.

Bill graduated from high school in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. He later served in the US Navy receiving an honorable discharge in 1964. He worked until retiring from Sears as a forklift operator. Bill and Odessa B. Harris were married on August 26, 1966 in Huntington Park, California and together raised six children. After her death in 2006, he and Mary (Hembree) Wiggins were married on June 19, 2010. He enjoyed gardening in his leisure time.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Odessa; and son, Patrick Fox.

Bill is survived by his wife, Mary; daughters, Mia Patterson of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Linda Guess of Edmond, Oklahoma; sons, Mike Fox and Steve Cheatwood of Bakersfield, California and Dan Fox of Nevada; step-daughter, Kathy Harris of Wynnewood, Oklahoma; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers are Cruz Carrillo, Danny Elkins, Alan Frazier, Kevin Hembree, Kidd Tolliner and Ron White.

Interment will follow in Green Hill Cemetery at Davis, Oklahoma.
