Wanda Lou Russell

Wanda Lou (Mays) Russell was born September 11, 1943, in Chivington, CO, to the late Herman Frederick William & Floy Leona (Brown) Mays. She died on Friday, December 8, 2023, in Ardmore, OK, at the age of 80 years, 2 months & 27 days. Wanda and Rocky Russell were united in marriage on April 10, 1962, in Denver, CO. From this union was born two sons, Kennith and Bradley.

Wanda was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a happy individual, often brightening the day of those around her. Prior to her retirement in 2015, she worked for Wanda Knapp, at the Davis Insurance Co.

Survivors include her husband, Rocky; two sons, Kennith Russell & wife Lora of Davis, OK and Bradley Russell & wife Laurie of Parker, CO; as well as three grandchildren, Jenette, Patrick and Megan Russell; and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her sister, Alma Jean Smith.

Services were “Entrusted To” HALE’S Funeral Home of Davis, OK.
