Wanda Kathryn "Kathy" Haworth

Wanda Kathryn “Kathy” (Crumb) Haworth was born June 23, 1945 in Davis, OK to the late Albert & Cora (Bradley) Crumb. She went home to heaven on Saturday, April 4, 2020 in Yukon, OK. She and Harold Loyd Haworth were married on June 8, 1962 in Davis. He preceded her in death on January 21, 1992.

Kathy, the youngest of her siblings, Rita, Alfred, Calvin, Terry and Carol, grew up in Davis. Following their marriage, she and Harold moved to Hennessey, OK, where she completed high school, graduating in 1963 from Dover High School. Early in her marriage, Kathy was a stay-at-home mother, caring for her two children, Matthew and Christa. She was very active in her children’s lives. She worked hard to give them the very best she could. Once her children were older, she spent several years working in a fabric store. In 1992, following the death of Harold, Kathy returned to Davis and began working as a Medical Records Clerk for Mercy Hospital in Ardmore, retiring in 2011.

Throughout her life, Kathy was a devoted member of the Methodist Church. For many years she taught Sunday School, served as Sunday School Director and volunteered countless hours with the church. She loved spending time on her porch swing, simply observing God’s beautiful creations and watching for butterflies. In her spare time, Kathy enjoyed reading, sewing, working crossword puzzles and cooking for family and friends. Kathy is now in the presence of God.

Survivors include her two children, Christa Kathleen Lawrence of Texarkana, AR and Matthew Harold Haworth of Yukon; four grandchildren, Jacob Matthew Haworth, Ava Caroline Haworth, Micah James Lawrence and Nicholas Heath Lawrence; as well as one brother, Alfred Crumb of Roff.

In addition to her parents and husband, Kathy was preceded in death by four siblings, Rita (Crumb) England, Calvin Crumb, Terry Crumb and Carol (Crumb) Williams.
