Virginia Lee Fox

Virginia was born August 21, 1933 in Davis to the late Robert Lee & Ruby Mae (Green) Fullerton. She died Friday, September 9, 2016 at her home in Davis, surrounded by her family. She was 83 years & 18 days old. Virginia and Delford Ray Fox were married on November 6, 1953 in Davis.
As a lifelong resident of Davis, Virginia was a 1952 graduate of Davis High School. Throughout her life she volunteered and helped others in any way she could. She served with the Murray County Election Board assisting with local elections, volunteered as a substitute teacher for the Davis Public Schools, assisted with the Davis Band Boosters, as well as provided childcare for many kids. She was a faithful member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church of Davis, where she enjoyed leading music and teaching Sunday school. In her spare time, Virginia could be found reading the Bible, crocheting, working in her flower gardens or cooking for her family and friends. She had an unwavering love for her family and supported them in all their endeavors. She was an avid fan of the Davis Wolves.
Survivors include her devoted husband, Delford; one daughter, Marsha Roady of Davis; two sons, Wayne Fox & wife Glenda of Mustang and Danny Fox & wife Billie of Davis; seven grandchildren, Nathan Roady, Amanda Ogletree, Kandi Nelson, Lindsey Fried, Clint Linkous, Morgan Fox and Turner Fox; 14 great-grandchildren, Hunter Fox, Tatum, Teagen & Triston Nelson, Lily & Loxley Fried, Rhyen & Nixon Roady, Zoey Ogletree, Tracelynn Schandorff, Kelen Owens, Kynlee Luckinbill, Maddux Caldwell and Harper Fox, as well as one sister, Pauline Gist of Davis.
In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by one grandson, Daniel Fox.
Serving as pallbearers were her nephews, Eddie Gist, Steve Ratchford, Carl Ratchford, Greg Fox, Glen Fox, Sherman Reed and Shannon Reed
