Troy James Beaver

Troy was born Feb 7, 1942 in Sulphur to the late Ather Troy & Estelle Ruth (Williams) Beaver. He died Wednesday, Jan 6, 2016 in Ada, at the age of 73 years 10 months & 29 days.

Troy grew up in Murray County. Much of his career was spent working as a lineman for several electric companies throughout the US. After retiring from the electrical industry in the late 1990’s, Troy started Beaver Transport Co and delivered livestock trailers all over the US until 2011. He later spent two years working for the Chickasaw Nation in surveillance operations until failing health forced him to retire once again. In his spare time, Troy enjoyed fishing, hunting and reading.

Survivors include two daughters, Ruth Payne & husband Andy of Fittstown, OK and Charlotte Vannoy & husband Jerry of Burneryville, OK; three sons, Michael Troy Beaver of Sulphur, Dean Edwin Beaver & wife Donna of Wynnewood and Michael Adam Bullard of Boley; grandchildren, James Matthew Anders & wife Rebecca, Tasha Beaver, KC Delyn & husband Dustin, Raven, & Zeke Beaver and Aaron Meigs; great-grandchildren, Jacob & Joseph Anders, Devon & Logan Pierce, Jayden Johnson, Noah Beaver and Kinley Meigs; as well as, one sister, Ruth Marie McCracken of Sulphur; and one brother, Allen Beaver of Longview, TX.

In addition to his parents, Troy as preceded in death by his wife Darlene; and two brothers, Claude & Stephen Beaver.

Serving as honorary bearers will be Andrew Quinton Payne, Jerry Lee Vannoy, Aaron Dale Meigs, James Matthew Anders, Dustin Calhoun and Claude Jr, David, Keith and Chuck Beaver.
