Theresa L Testerman

Theresa was born March 3, 1950 in Oklahoma City to the late Wayne and Dorthy Testerman. She died Monday, September 26, 2016 in Sulphur, at the age of 66 years, 6 months and 23 days. Theresa met her lifetime partner Brenda Casteel in 1970 and they remained together until her passing.

Theresa graduated high school in Del City. She later went on to pursue a degree in nursing at the Seminole Junior College. She worked at the Shawnee Health Department, Ardmore Health Department, and retired from Healdton Health Department. Theresa had a passion for shopping, especially for shoes. She enjoyed cooking and was an avid cookbook collector. Theresa loved her pets, past and present. She also loved spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include lifetime partner Brenda Casteel; three brothers, Patrick Testerman of Shawnee, Wayne Testerman of Oklahoma City and Mike Testerman of Broken Arrow; two sisters, Janice Meyers of Cedar Hills, Tx, and Janet Testerman of the home; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Theresa was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
