Graveside services Terry Wayne LaNoy were held at 3:00 PM, Friday, Oct 18, 2013 at the Green Hill Cemetery in Davis with Pastor Eddie Dye officiating.
Terry was born Dec 4, 1954 in Wynnewood, OK to Billy and Thelma “Dolly” (Buckaloo) LaNoy. He died Thursday, Oct 17, 2013 in Sulphur, at the age of 58 years 10 months and 13 days. Terry and Lavern Pope were married on Sept 21, 1973 in Gainesville, TX. She preceded him in death on Aug 18, 2006. His mother, Dolly, also preceded him in death.
Terry grew up in the Wynnewood/Davis area. He graduated from Davis High School in May of 1973. Terry spent his life working as a self-employed cowboy. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, hunting and being in the outdoors.
Survivors include his three daughters, Rosemary Davis of Sulphur, Kasey Canada of Springer and Amy Monjay of Sulphur; nine grandchildren, Tyler, Jessica, Bailey, Ashlee, Joden, Riggin, Lane, Megan and Tale; three great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Arena and Charisma; father, Billy LaNoy of Davis; two sisters, Debbie Rowe of Davis and Diana Ellett of Tulsa; one brother, Ricky LaNoy of Davis; one niece, Mandy LaNoy; three nephews, Pete Ellett, Shawn Ratchford and Terry LaNoy; as well as his companion, Georgia Snodgrass.
