Tahwannah Beatrice Lance Turner

Tahwannah Beatrice Lance Turner, 82, went to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, June 5, 2018.

Devout Christian, loving family matriarch, fiercely loyal friend, and passionate teacher and advocate for education throughout her profession and all her lifelong endeavors.

Survivors include her son, Clifton E. Turner of Dallas; daughter-in-law Deborah Turner; grandchildren Emmajane Turner, Addiemae Turner, Avery Turner, and Jarrett Turner; sisters Helen Crawford of Richland Hills, Patricia Trail of Norman, OK, and LaDonna Chaffin of Sulphur, OK; sisters-in-law Ruby Hall of Marion, NC, and Marie Robinson of Newport News, VA; and many beloved Lance and Turner cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning, June 12th, 10:00 am at the First Baptist Church of Farmers Branch, TX. A graveside service and interment was held at 3:00 pm that afternoon at the Dougherty Cemetery, Dougherty, OK
