Shirley was born on Dec 1, 1944 in Ardmore to Orval Delbert & Maxine (Elmore) Priddy. She died Wednesday, Nov 5, 2014 in Oklahoma City at the age of 69 years. Shirley and Donal Gene Kirby were married on Nov 11, 1959 in Sulphur. He preceded her in death on Jul 10, 2006.

Shirley grew up in the Hickory/Sulphur area. For many years she worked as a self-employed truck driver with the USA Trucking Co, as well as worked as a private caregiver. Shirley cherished her family, each one in their own unique way. In earlier times, prior to failing health, she attended Central Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and drove the church bus. Shirley faithfully studied her bible and spent countless hours praying for others.

Survivors include one son, Donnie Kirby & wife Jacie of Sulphur; two daughters, Tammie Pierson & husband James of Choctaw and Kym Hammond & husband Scott of Port Huron, MI; mother, Maxine Priddy of Sulphur; three sisters, Bobbye Cope & husband Ken, Debby Archer & husband Larry and Pam Frantz & husband Mike; 10 grandchildren, Zachery, Tyler, & Jacob Kirby, Chase Terry, Bryan Kirby & wife Summer, Kacie Parenti & husband Bradley, Shane Ouzts & wife Ember, Cory Ouzts & wife Brooke, Chris, Matthew and Courtney Hammond and two sisters-in-law, Shirley Garcia and Paula Rees.

In addition to her husband, Shirley was preceded in death by her father; brother, Rick Priddy; father-in-law & mother in-law, Jr & Martha Kirby; three brothers-in-law, Ken Brown, Max Garcia & Freddy Kirby; niece, Tracie Garcia, and nephew, Ethan Frantz.
