Shirley Ann Lamarsna

Funeral services for Shirley Ann LaMarsna will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, February 24, 2020 at the Hale’s Memorial Chapel in Sulphur with Pastor Willard McCartney, Jr officiating. Interment will follow at the Maxwell Cemetery in Oil Center.

Shirley was born August 22, 1950 in Ada, OK. She died Monday, February 17, 2020 in Denison, TX, at the age of 69. Shirley and Terry Lance LaMarsna were married on March 25, 1995 in Tulare, CA.

Shirley grew up in Tulare. She owned and operated a commercial house cleaning business there in Tulare for some 30 years. She and Lance moved from California to Sulphur in July of 2015. Since that time, Shirley had worked at the Sulphur Wal-Mart in lady’s apparel. In her spare time, she enjoyed catfishing and camping. She was a very proud mother and loved spending time with her two sons. Throughout her life, Shirley was known to be a very caring individual, touching the lives of many people.

Survivors include her husband Lance; two sons, Don White of Sulphur and Robert McDaniels of Scurry, TX; two grandchildren, Ann Marie McDaniels and Casandra White; one brother, Jack Humphreys of Fresno, CA; and a very special cousin, Lester Beaver of Sulphur, whom she thought of as a brother.

Shirley was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma (Hilton) Thompson; father, Jack Humphreys; and one sister, Belinda Joyce.
