Sarah Jane Digby

Sarah Jane Digby was born on February 22, 1953, in Ardmore, OK, to the late John Edgar & Opal Lorene (Wyatt) Watkins. She passed from this life on Sunday, October 6, 2024, in Ardmore, at the age 71 years, 7 months and 14 days.

Sarah grew up in Ardmore. She spent much of her adult life as a stay-at-home mother, caring from her family. She had made her home in Healdton for the past 20+ years.

Sarah loved her family, each in her own unique way. She was known to "loveably ornery"! In her spare time, she enjoyed listening to music, gardening, painting, fishing, going to garage sales and often, complaining. She found great happiness in making trips to the Amazon Store with her sister. Most importantly, Sarah loved Jesus and listening to Bible recordings.

Survivors include her three children, Darla Hutson, Elmer J. Mitchell and Jack Oscar Mitchell; eight grandchildren, Brint, Bailey, Brianne, Maddy, Zoey, Joseph, Hannah and Amelia; one great-grandchild, Billie Jane; three sisters, Carolyn Craven, Roxann Mullins and Mary Alvarado; three brothers, Johnny, Earl, and Ben Watkins; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at the Drake Cemetery, south of Sulphur.

Services are entrusted to Hale's Funeral Home, of Davis.
