Sandra Lee Levingston

September 5, 1953 — January 2, 2025

Sulphur

Sandra Lee Levingston was born September 5, 1953, in Alturas, CA, to the late Vurnie Horice & Willie Katherine (Smith) Mullings. She died on Thursday, January 2, 2025, in Sulphur, at the age of 71.

Growing up, Sandra and her family resided in several places between California and Oklahoma. She and David Dean Levingston were united in marriage on November 30, 1987, in Sherman, TX. Together they made their home in Dougherty and Sulphur. Sandra spent several years working in housekeeping at the former Lifestyle Center, later becoming the Chickasaw Retreat Center, south of Sulphur. In addition to that job, she also worked as a message therapist at the Day Spa in Sulphur.

Sandra was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. As a dedicated member of the Arbuckle View Seventh Day Adventist Church, she devoted countless hours of service to her Savior and church family. Sandra was a very strong prayer warrior, always praying for the needs of others. She could often be found walking the Sulphur Park observing God’s handywork and being one with nature. Sandra was known for living her life by the theory that everything must always be kept clean and in place. She was a published author of two books, one being her autobiography and the other about her faith in God. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing card games with her family.

Survivors include her husband, David; two daughters, Sherri Nicole Stambaugh & husband Tim of Denison, TX, and Barbara Ann Greer & husband David of Dougherty; one son, James Lucky Lockler of Enid; seven grandchildren, Jessicca Lester, Kaycee Spaugh, Brhiannon Greer, Ryland Greer, Sky Lockler, Zaiden Lockler, and Rosalyn Lockler; five great-grandchildren, Hayden, Nariyah, Atalie, Alex and Ari; four sisters, Verna Hayter, Pat Hatfield, Susie Rico, and Jennie James; and three brothers, Les Mullings, Bobby Mullings, and Glenn Mullings.

In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by three siblings, Terri Strange, Linda Allen, and Wesley Mullings.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at the Arbuckle View Seventh Day Adventist Church, east of Davis, with Ricky Syler and Dan Braun officiating. Interment will follow at the Dougherty Cemetery.
