Sandra Jean "Sandy" Breeden
Funeral services for Sandra Jean "Sandy" Breeden will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, March 11, 2024, at the Hale's Memorial Chapel in Sulphur, with Pastor Willard McCartney, Jr officiating. Interment will follow at the Lewis Family Cemetery, east of Wynnewood.
Sandy was born July 8, 1968, in Woodward, OK, to Carl Lynn & JoAnn (Stowers) Irwin. She died Monday, March 4, 2024, in Velma, at the age of 55.
Sandy grew up in the Perkins/Cushing area. She spent many years working as a waitress, which she greatly enjoyed. Her waitressing job allowed her to meet and become friends with so many people. These friendships created many lasting memories. Sandy also spent 26 years working as a secretary for Breeden Heat and Air. At the time of her death, she was employed with the City of Velma, speaking often about the new skills she was learning. She was very proud of all the tasks she was able to perform on her own.
Sandy's world revolved around her two children, Jackson & Haley. She poured her love into them every chance she got. She was also head over heels in love with her five grandchildren, and cherished every moment spent with them.
Sandy shared a very strong bond with her mother, JoAnn. She considered JoAnn to be her absolute best friend, knowing her mom was always right by her side. She was a beacon of joy, always being able to light up a room with simply her presence. Sandy enjoyed working in her yard. She loved her flowers and always beamed with pride as they bloomed.
Survivors include her son, Jackson Breeden & wife Elizabeth of Tryon, OK; her daughter, Haley Stevens & husband Shelby of Agra, OK; her mother, JoAnn Irwin of Velma, OK; her five grandchildren, Ellie, Rylie, Olan, Harlow and Millie; as well as one brother, Michael Easley of Houston, TX.
Sandy was preceded in death by her father, Carl Lynn Irwin.
Services are entrusted to Hale's Funeral Home of Sulphur.
