Ruby G. “Dolly” McBee Findley


Ruby was born on Jan 11, 1926 in Norman, AR to the late William Jackson & Nellie Mae (Sanders) Keller. She died Monday, Dec 30, 2013 in Sulphur, OK, at the age of 87 years 11 months and 19 days. Ruby and Durward McBee were married on Jun 11, 1942 in Hillsboro, TX. He preceded her in death on Feb 5, 1970. On Jul 29, 1973, Ruby married Lewis Findley in Crowley, TX. He preceded her in death on Jun 25, 1984.

Ruby grew up and attended school in Blanton, TX. After her children were raised, she worked in retail sales. Ruby was an avid reader. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends and watching wildlife.

Survivors include her daughter, Regenia Newton & husband Ron; son, Bryan McBee, both of Sulphur; two grandchildren, Denise Coffee & husband Mike and Ty McBee; two step-grandchildren, Twaula and Steve Smith; three great-grandchildren, Wayne, Derek & Beth; brother, Clinton Keller; as well as numerous nieces & nephews.
