Ruby Geneva Kesler

Funeral services for Ruby Geneva Kesler will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 5, 2020 at the Hale’s Memorial Chapel in Davis, with Brother Randy Chapman officiating. Interment followed at the Green Hill Cemetery in Davis.
Geneva was born August 24, 1947 in Lookeba, OK to the late George W. and Vilda Jack (Foust) Woodrome. She died Saturday, February 29, 2020 in Davis, at the age of 72 years, 6 months and 5 days. Geneva and William Max “Bill” Kesler were married on February 20, 1965 in Duncan.
The earlier years of Geneva’s life were spent in Lookeba, prior to the family moving to Duncan. Following marriage, she spent several years as a stay-at-home mother, caring for her children. Later she worked as a bank teller. Due to Bill's employment, they made their home in several towns, prior to settling in Davis in 2003.
Geneva was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother. She found great joy in being a part of her grandchildren’s lives and spending time with them. Geneva, even in failing health, attended all her grandchildren’s school and sporting events, to cheer them on and offer her support. In her spare time she enjoyed reading and painting.
Survivors include her husband Bill; three daughters, Sherry Kesler and Kristie Diaz, both of Davis, and Alexandra Wilson of Blanchard; two sons, Kelly Kesler & wife Krysti of Purcell and Willie Kesler & wife Krystal of Elmore City; fifteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Cora Roden & husband Paul of Comanche; one brother, Royce Woodrome of Colorado Springs, CO; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Geneva was preceded in death by six sisters and five brothers.
The family will receive friends from 5-7PM, Wednesday evening, March 4th, at the funeral home.
