Royce Dale Flick

Services for Royce Dale Flick, better known as Dale, will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at the Midway Hill Baptist Church in Davis with the Pastor Willard McCartney, JR officiating. Burial will be at the Dougherty Cemetery.

Dale was born February 19, 1954 in Sulphur, OK to the late Ralph “Squib” and Loucenda Alice (Payne) Flick. He died Saturday, March 20, 2021 in Pauls Valley, OK at the age of 67 years, 1 month and 1 day.

Dale grew up in Dougherty. He attended Dougherty Public Schools through the eighth grade, prior to graduating from Sulphur High School, Class of 1972. While in high school he completed the Automotive Collision program at the Southern Oklahoma Vo-Tech in Ardmore. Dale spent most of his life working as a truck driver. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on vehicles and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his son, Allen Flick & wife Rachel of Paoli; two grandsons, Teddy Ray and Cody Lee Smith; one sister, Lottie Cordell of Pauls Valley; one brother, Ray Flick of Ratliff City; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by an infant son, Joseph Don Flick; two sisters, Betty Fern (Flick) Jones and Alice Flick; as well as three brothers, Harold Carter, Don Flick and Wayne Flick.
