Funeral services for Ronnie Max Pierce will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 26, 2020 at Hale’s Memorial Chapel in Sulphur with Pastor Robert Green officiating. Interment will follow at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Sulphur. A visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, June 25, 2020 from 5-7PM at the funeral home.
Ronnie Max Pierce, of Sulphur, was born on December 4, 1944, to Charles and Willie Anna (Griffin) Pierce. He passed away on Monday, June 22, in Sulphur, at the age of 75 years.
Ronnie grew up in Sulphur, graduating from Sulphur High School in 1963. He enlisted in the National Guard at the age of seventeen. Ronnie lived in Sulphur his entire life working as a general contractor. Ronnie was an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing, hunting and camping. He also loved playing shuffleboard. He loved watching his kids and grandkids play sports, and was a member of Kiwanis and The Elks. Ronnie was happiest when he was surrounded by family and friends.
Survivors include one son, Chase Pierce and wife Lorie of OKC; three daughters, Amanda Pierce of Hickory, Lindsy Pierce and husband Dane of Chicago, Illinois, and Cara Gaddy and husband Bryce of Pauls Valley; eight grandchildren, Trinity Pierce, Tannah and Tahlan Hamilton, Blaze Blackburn, Carter Pierce, Ellis Pinter, and BrookeLynn and Carolina Gaddy; one sister Ann McKim and husband Roger of Sulphur; one sister-in-law, Tess Pierce of Sulphur; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by two brothers Virgil and John Pierce; and three sisters Crystal Salter, Kay Turner, and DaMarr Evans.
