Ronnie Lee Cobble



Ronnie was born Oct 28, 1950 in Sulphur to the late Leroy & Mary (Allen) Cobble. He died Wednesday, Sept 30, 2015 in Norman, at the age of 64 years 11 months & 2 days.

Ronnie grew up in Sulphur, graduating from Sulphur High School in 1968. He later attended East Central University, in Ada. Ronnie was very much an entrepreneur, venturing into several types of businesses. Most of his career was spent in construction, partnering with his dad. Together they owned & operated Cobble Construction of Sulphur. For several years Ronnie raised and raced Greyhound Dogs. At the time of his death, he was managing the Lube Center in Sulphur. Ronnie was an avid reader and loved animals. He enjoyed taking Sunday drives and being with his family, whom he was very devoted to.

Survivors include two daughters, Heather Todd & husband Mike of Noble and April Cobble of Sulphur; his granddaughter, Matea Cobble; one sister, Mary Sue Perryman & husband Lyle of Drumright; Aunt, Georgia Mae Hamersley & husband Doil of Velma; as well as the mother of his children, Dianna Taylor.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Phillips, Kevin, Kyle, Josh & Mason Perryman, Joe & Coby Wells and Gene Allen. Honorary bearers will be Mike Todd, Lyle Perryman, Gary Kerns and Jimmy Day.

The family will receive friends from 4-7PM, Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
