Graveside services for Peggy Jo (Hunt) Black will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at the Green Hill Cemetery in Davis with Pastor Claud Williams officiating.

Peggy was born Dec 15, 1940 in Davis, to the late Leon “Hick” & Lela (Wilcox) Hunt. She died Monday, June 6, 2016, in Davis, at the age of 75 years, 5 months and 21 days.

Peggy grew up in Davis and attended Davis school. She spent most of her adult life working at area cafes and restaurants. Most recently, she worked as a Foster Grandmother at the Davis Elementary School. Peggy was a very hard working lady. In her spare time she enjoyed being with her family and spending countless hours relaxing and rocking in her chair.

Survivors include two daughters, Lela Fine of Davis and Angela Domina of Wyoming; three sons, Michael Tagart of Ada, Leon Tagart of Wynnewood and Justin Ware of Noble; as well as eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.


Peggy was preceded in death by one son, Bobby J Meador, Jr; granddaughter, Carla Ware Potts; and a sister, Maggie McConley.
