Pamela Sue Stephens


Pamela was born Mar 7, 1969 in Aurora, IL to Lawrence D. and Cheri L. (Ross) Phillips. She died Sunday, Nov 2, 2014 in Sulphur, at the age of 45 years, 7 months and 25 days. Pamela and Travis Ray Stephens were married on Oct 16, 1993 in Aurora.

After graduating from East Aurora High School in 1987, Pamela attended DeVry University and Waubonsee Community College in Sugar Grove, IL where she studied early childhood development. She and her family had made their home in Sulphur since September 2005. Pamela was a very loving and devoted mother. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting and caring for her cats.

Pamela is survived by her husband, Travis; two daughters, Carolynn Stephens and Mary Stephens both of Sulphur; son, Timothy Stephens of Sulphur; mother, Cheri Larson and husband Jeff of Sulphur; father, Lawrence Phillips of Amboy, IL; brother, David Phillips and grandmother, Paula Ross both of Sulphur; as well as numerous nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Wayne Ross; aunt, Debbie Cruse and uncle, Allen Garett.
