Palmer "Mickey" Reed Cops

Palmer Reed “Mickey” Cops, a resident of Davis, was born September 7, 1935 at home in Davis, Oklahoma to the late Arthur Francis “Buck” and Retta (Hicks) Cops. He was called home to be with his heavenly father on Monday, February 22, 2021 at the age of 85 years, 5 months and 15 days with his family by his side.

Mickey grew up in Davis and graduated from Davis High School in 1953. He retired after many years from Eastern Airlines, located in Dallas, Texas. He enjoyed traveling, RVing in Victoria, Texas and Ruidoso, New Mexico. Mickey loved children and his family. He never lost his humorous wit and the workers at Burford Manor Nursing Home loved him.

Mickey was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Retta Cops; brothers George, Keese, Dean, GL Hubert; and sister, Frances. He is survived by his brother Clifford Eugene Cops Sr. and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the Green Hill Cemetery in Davis, Oklahoma.
