Nancy Paulette Doty

Nancy Paulette Sitton was born June 29, 1944, to Ralph and Lydia Sitton, in Lamar, Missouri. Nancy and her brother Ernest grew up in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She attended US Grant high school. Not long after graduation, she met Robert “Bob” Doty, Jr. They married three months after meeting on December 27, 1962, and soon welcomed three daughters. They moved to Sulphur, Oklahoma, where they lived until 1979, before moving to Ardmore, Oklahoma. After raising their daughters, they moved back to Sulphur, where they enjoyed visiting the park, living by the lake, and spending time with their six grandchildren.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Lydia Sitton, and her brother, Ernest Sitton. She is survived by her husband, Bob Doty Jr. of Sulphur; three daughters, Bobbie and husband, Todd Dilbeck of Choctaw, Oklahoma, Jennifer and husband, Shannon Claxton of Ardmore, Oklahoma, and Teresa and husband, Chris Wiedenmann, of Edmond, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Houston Dilbeck and wife Jenny, Meagan Venzor and husband JJ, Kolby Dilbeck, Blaine Wiedenmann and husband Justin Fortney, Alex Coshow and husband Cale, Keller Claxton and wife Lacee; eight great-grandchildren, Madison Dilbeck, Wyatt Dilbeck, Lauren Dilbeck, Shaylee Wright-Venzor, Cash Wright-Venzor, Rylen Claxton, Wade Claxton, Collier Coshow, and many nieces and nephews.

At the age of 78, Nancy Paulette Doty went home to be with the Lord where her memory is once again sharp, the food tastes delicious, and the slot machines are all winners!!! She leaves behind a legacy of love and lifetime of cherished memories for her family.

Services will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at the Hale’s Memorial Chapel in Sulphur, with Pastor Bill Leveridge officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorials be sent to INCA Community Services Murray County, 1216 W. 9th Street Sulphur, Oklahoma 73086.
