Miles David Blevins

David was born Jun 26, 1963 in Ardmore to William Miles & Helen J. (Hays) Blevins, Jr. He died Saturday, Jan 25, 2014 in Ardmore, at the age of 50 years 6 months and 29 days.
David grew up in Sulphur, where he graduated from high school in 1981. He later attended Murray State College, where he earned an Associate’s Degree in Nursing. David spent 12 years working as a RN at the Ardmore Veteran’s Center, before his health force him to retire. In his spare time he enjoyed being with his family & friends, traveling and playing on the computer.
Survivors include his father, W.M. “Miles” Blevins of Sulphur; brother, Larry Blevins & wife Kris of Kirtland, OH; niece, Kaitlyn Blevins of New York City; nephew, Nathan Blevins of Washington D.C.; aunt, Marie Tanner of Wisconsin; uncle, Curtis Yblood of Ft Worth; two cousins, Mike Blevins of Colorado and Mark Yblood of Ft. Worth; as well as his former wife, Patricia (Patti) Brisco Blevins.
David was preceded in death by his mother in Sept 2006.
