Michael "Mike" Dawn Melton

Mike was born September 20, 1961 and passed away on Friday, June 26, 2020. He was 58 years old. Mike lived in the Davis area most of his life. He graduated from Davis High School in 1979. Mike enjoyed hunting, playing shuffleboard and fighting chickens. Many people have described Mike as unique, one of a kind, or born 100 years too late. Mike was all of that and much more. He was a husband to Bettye Anne – together 32 years. He was a father, brother and son. Mike was a talented craftsman and could build just about anything.

Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Donieta Holmes.
He is survived by his wife Bettye Anne Melton of Davis, Oklahoma; Sons Neil Melton and wife Kendra of San Diego, California and their children Kyla and Kian, Jacob Bebout and wife Mary Anne ; Parents, Bill and Rozana Melton of Davis; Sisters, Lisa Garrison and husband Jim of Sulphur, Oklahoma; Amanda Johnson of Malvern, Arkansas; Robin McElhaney and husband Rick of Oklahoma City; brothers, Matt Melton; Billy Melton; Mitch Melton and wife Sara; Mark Melton and wife Jennie, all of Davis, Oklahoma; and, Kyle Ingraham of Tulsa.

Mike’s family will hold graveside memorial services at Romulus Cemetery, in Romulus Oklahoma on July 4, 2020, at 10:00 a.m.
