Melvin Wayne Larney was born March 25, 1952 to Melvin Stevens and Marie Larney in Oklahoma City. He died Saturday, July 14, 2012 in Oklahoma City at the age of 60 years, 3 months and 19 days.

Melvin was a self-employed auto mechanic and enjoyed watching all kinds of sports.

He was preceded in death by his father and brothers, Joe Cunnish and Jimmy Cunnish.

Melvin is survived by LaFreda Whitebuffalo; his mother, Marie Lewis of Oklahoma City; daughter, Maurissa Perez and husband, Javier, of Gainesville, Texas, and her children: Alexandra, Alondra and Maria; son, Marcus Larney of Oklahoma City and his son, Christopher; and sister, Delores (Cunnish) Garner of Sulphur
