James was born on Jun 12, 1957 in Bragg, MO to Melvin & Mary (Garner) West. He died Friday, May 31, 2013 in Suphur at the age 55 years 11 months and 19 days. James and Deanna Lee Lowery were married on Jun 5, 2006 in Davis.

James spent much of his life working as a Lumberjack. He enjoyed doing woodwork, fishing and watching the Discovery Channel. The greatest love in James’ life was spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife Deanna; six daughters, Raysha Stanford & husband Willie, Jessie, Candy, Katie & Grace West and Hollie Hope; son, James West & wife Catherine; mother, Mary L West; seven siblings Tommy, Mark, Ruby, Alice, Peggy, Ruthann & Sarah; as well as, ten grandchildren.

James was preceded in death by his father, Melvin and a son, Waylon Lee West.
