Mary was born on August 1, 1941 in Mannsville, OK to the late Harlis and Arta (Musick) Hodges. She died Wednesday, April 16, 2014 in Ardmore, at the age of 72 years 8 months and 15 days. Mary and Gail Goodson were married on Aug 1, 1958 in Baum, OK.

Mary grew up in Mannsville. She worked seven years in the sewing factories in Madill and Sulphur as well as a clerk for ten years at Snak Shak. In her spare time, Mary enjoyed gardening, caring for animals and sewing. She was of the Baptist faith.

Mary is survived by her husband, Gail; son, Rick Goodson and wife Lisa of Ardmore; four grandchildren, Heather Henington, Brooke Saunders, Trey Goodson and Jared Goodson; five great-grandchildren, Jarek, Haley, Blane, Zackry and Chloe; four sisters, Mohota Miller and Clara Faye Bennett of Dennison, TX, Pansy Lucille Marak of Abilene, TX and Dueton Whitfield of Sachse, TX and two brothers, Freddie and Dan Hodges of Ardmore, OK.

Preceding her in death were one son, Kevin Goodson; two brothers, Wes & H.A. Hodges and two sisters, Elva Mae Rawson and Jane Ward.
