Mary Dell (Mckinley) Patenaude

Mary Dell (McKinley) Patenaude was born July 2, 1939 in the Chigley Community to the late D.G. & Hester (McCormick) McKinley. She died Friday, April 3, 2020 in Wynnewood, at the age of 80 years 9 months and 1day. In 1982, she and Maurice “Skip” Patenaude were married in San Diego, CA. He preceded her in death on February 11, 2014.

Mary grew up in Dale, Oklahoma, graduating from McLoud High School. Later she made her home in Waverly, TN, prior to moving back to Oklahoma recently to be near family. Mary loved watching birds and tending her gardens. She enjoyed canning and making homemade jelly. Mary was an avid fan of traveling. During her retirement years, she and Skip were able to visit all 50 states and several Canadian provinces. Mary lived for her “Sisters Trips” and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Survivors include five children, Tammy Lee & husband Mike of Camden, TN, Danny Baldwin & wife Brandy of Wynnewood, Suzie Dominique & husband Paul of Santee, CA, Paula Pozzi & husband Anthony of Chula Vista, CA and Charles “Charlie” Walter Patenaude of Rogers, AK; 13 grandchildren, Brandon Baldwin & wife Melisa, Jimmy Baldwin & wife Kate, Coby Carter, Kyler Baldwin, Mary Lorene Story, Paul Dominique, Jr, Jonathan Dominique, Reina Patenaude, Cody Daniel & wife Kristina, David Pozzi & wife Erin, Brian Baldwin, Jennifer Baldwin & significant other Jeff Kerr and Caitlyn Baldwin; as well as 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by one son, Billy Ray Baldwin; one great-grandson, Shawn Lee Baldwin; and six siblings, Wanda McKinley, Maybelle McKinley, Kenneth McKinley, Queta McKinley, Evonne Myers and Charles McKinley.
