Mamie Ruth West

Mamie Ruth (Shipley) West was born May 19, 1931, in Wynnewood, to the late George Wesley and Oneida (Huitt) Shipley. She passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at the age of 91 years, 11 months, and 14 days. She and A.L. West were married on January 6, 1947. He preceded her in death on April 4, 1994.

Survivors include two sons, Louis and Tom West.

In addition to her parents and husband, Ruth was preceded in death by one daughter, Pamela Ruth Deen; one brother, George Edward Shipley; and one sister, Imogene Mann.

Per Ruth’s request, no services will be held.

Cremation was “Entrusted To” HALE’S Funeral Home of Davis, OK.
