Lori Lynn Canipe

Funeral services for Lori Lynn Canipe will be held 2:00PM, Monday, August 14, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Davis with the Reverend Frank Duncan officiating. Interment will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at the Hobart Rose Cemetery in Hobart, OK.

Lori was born February 18, 1964 in Independence, MO to Kenneth E. and Carolyn Sue (Watkins) Hollins. She died Thursday, August 10, 2017 in Davis, following a lengthy battle with cancer. She was 53 years, 5 months & 23 days old.

Lori resided in Independence, MO until the age of 13, when her family moved to Hobart, OK. She was a 1982 graduate of Hobart High School. In 1998 Lori moved to Davis, where she spent 19 years working as a pharmacy tech for Sooner Pharmacy in Davis.

Survivors include two daughters, MacKenzie Canipe and Michala Canipe; one son, Cody Canipe; and the father of children, Nelson Canipe, all of Davis; father, Kenneth Hollins, Sr of Independence, MO; one sister, Heather Baldwin; three brothers, Kenneth Hollins, Jr, Ian Baldwin and Bucky Baldwin; aunt, Linda Tonahill; as well as her three grandchildren, Cloey Lynn Digby, Braydn & Rivurs Canipe.

Lori was preceded in death by her mother Carolyn Sue Baldwin and step-father Richard Baldwin.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Lee, Mike Ballard, Colton Danyuer and Terry Looney. Honorary bearers will be Tracey Garrison and Pam Jones.
