Lora Marie Bonifanti

Lora Marie Bonifanti was born March 14, 1940, in Davis, to the late Ervin M. and Iver J. (Stephens) Skaggs. She died on Friday, April 28, 2023, in Sulphur, at the age of 83 years, 1 month and 14 days.

Marie grew up in Davis. After graduating from Davis High School, she moved to the Dallas area, where she spent many years working for the US Food Corporation. After retiring, she returned home to Davis.

Throughout her retirement years, Marie continued to be active with her friends. She enjoyed spending time with her “Lunch Bunch,” as well as countless other dear friends. She was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, the OKC Thunder and the OU Sooners. Marie was a member of the Pathway Church, where stayed busy assisting with church activities.

Survivors include several cousins.

A memorial service will be held in the near future.
