Lois Emilie Walker

Lois Emily Walker was born June 21, 1936, in Groton, SD, to the late Carl Emanuel and Ella (Erdman) Strom. She died on Thursday, February 2, 2023, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 86.

As a child, Lois resided in Groton, until the age of 13, when she and her family moved to Florida. After graduating from Winter Haven High School, in Winter Haven, Florida, Lois attended Valparaiso University in Indiana, and later earned a masters in chemistry at Purdue University.

Survivors include her three sons, Chad Walker & wife Barbara of Piedmont, Kyle Walker & wife Lexi of Oklahoma City, and Cass Walker & wife Anita of Edmond; three grandchildren, Skylor, Kaedyn and David; one sister, Arlis Scott & husband Bill of Moore; and one brother, Roy Strom of Norman.

In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by one sister, Renee Bulcher.

Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00PM, Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at the Green Hill Cemetery, in Davis, with Pastor Willard McCartney, Jr officiating.
