Linda Lou Webb

Linda Lou Webb was born August 21, 1947 in Fort Smith, AR to the late William and Eunice (Green) Rodgers. She died Saturday, April 25, 2020 in Sulphur, at the age of 72 years, 8 months and 4 days. Linda and Lonnie Joe Webb were married on May 27, 1995 in Afton, OK.

The earlier years of Linda’s life were spent in Fort Smith, prior to her family moving to the Tulsa area, where she graduated high school in 1965. Shortly after their marriage, she and Lonnie moved to Sulphur. She spent 19 years working as a Medical Records clerk at the Arbuckle Memorial Hospital until failing health forced her into retirement. Linda was an avid fan of motorcycles. She and Lonnie spent countless hours traveling the country on their Harley. In her spare time, she enjoyed camping, reading and tending to her plants.

Survivors include her husband, Lonnie; two daughters, Tanya Garling of Norman and Carol Dillard of Davis; one grandson, John Storm of Norman; one very special niece, whom she thought of as a daughter, Amber Frye & husband Grant of Owasso; as well as their daughter, Sara Frye, whom she regarded as a grandchild

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her three brothers, Leslie, Tommy and Bill Rodgers.

Private graveside services will be held at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Sulphur, with Dr. Ed Sasnett officiating.
