Memorial services for Daniel Levi Johnson will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, August 7, 2021, at the Dougherty Baptist Church in Dougherty, OK, with Pastor Jim Burgess officiating.
Daniel, better known as Levi, was born September 13, 1977, in Ardmore, OK to Buster and Amanda (Gaddy) Johnson. He died on Wednesday, July 20, 2021, in Ardmore, at the age of 43 years, 9 months and 24 days.
Levi grew up in Dalton, GA, graduating from Southeast High School, Class of 1995. While in high school, he was a star team member in both football and wrestling. Following high school, Levi attended the University of Oklahoma, where he played rugby. He later earned an associate degree in Human Resources, prior to earning a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Maryland. At the time of his death, Levi owned and operated the BioXtrax Lab in Lone Grove, OK.
Levi was full of wit and charm, and was very well-liked by his peers. He was known for having a huge heart and he loved and cared deeply for his family and friends. He was an immensely proud father to his three kids, Cheyenne, Brendan, and Luke, and spending time with his family brought him joy beyond measure.
Levi was an avid angler and loved going fishing every chance he could. Those fishing trips often included his sons and father, who were his best friends. Levi also loved spending his free time playing video games and practicing Martial Arts, which he also enjoyed doing with his kids.
Survivors include his daughter, Cheyenne Johnson of Sulphur; two sons, Brendan and Luke Johnson of Davis; parents, Buster and Amanda Johnson of Ardmore; four brothers, Matthew Johnson of Edmond, Jonathan Johnson of Oklahoma City, Gabe Johnson of Edmond and Benjamin Johnson of Austin, TX; several aunts and uncles, including Alanda Burgess & husband Jim, Waukita Ray, Kim Gaddy & wife Becky, Pam Taber & husband Charles, and Wayne McWhirt & wife; as well as numerous cousins and dear friends.
Preceding Levi in death were his maternal grandparents, T.I Knight and James Gaddy, and paternal grandparents Clyde Johnson and Connie Coburn.
