Lennard Charles Prewitt

Lennard was born Dec 7, 1947 in Stratford, OK to Delbert & Stella (Talent) Prewitt. He died Monday, Oct 19, 2015 in Pauls Valley, at the age of 67 years 10 months and 12 days. Lennard and Phillis (Buchanan) were married on Feb 7, 1981 in Oklahoma.

Lennard grew up in the Byars area. He spent 32 years as a cross country truck driver prior to his retirement in 2011. In his spare time he enjoyed playing his guitar and playing the Wii, or as he called it, “the weed”. Lennard greatly enjoyed being with his family and aggravating the grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife Phillis; three daughters, Eulalia Mills & husband Justin of Kingston, Jamie Gutierrez & husband Lucho of Hennepin and Mary Ellen Hightower of Ardmore; two sons, Ruben Prewitt & wife Lori of Overbrook, OK and Junior Prewitt of Tennesse; grandchildren, Kyle Prewitt & wife Nikki, Skyler Prewitt & wife Michelle, Kalei, Jaden & Rylee Mills, Joseph, Jesse, Joshua, Kyra & Kenneth Gutierrez and Vincent & Gunner Prewitt; great-grandchildren, Kyler, Kaden, Jagger, Rhyker & Brinlee; as well as four brothers, Johnny Audrey, W.D. & Loyd and five sisters, Irene, Zelma, Joyce, Carla Kay and Charlene.

Lennard was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Pamela and one sister, Phyllis Martin.
