Lannie J. Warren

Lannie J. Warren was born January 29, 1950 in Wynnewood, OK, to the late Lannie Olen & Lillian Pauline (Hicks) Warren. He died Saturday, April 25, 2020, in Hennepin, at the age of 70 years, 2 months & 26 days.

Lannie grew up in the Wynnewood, Woodland and Hennepin areas, graduating from Woodland High School, class of 1968. Following high school, he spent several years working in the oil field and as a mechanic at Mark’s Garage. Later, he worked as a mechanic and transportation director for Wynnewood Public School, retiring in 2016. Lannie was an avid outdoorsman. Every spare moment he found, was spent either in the woods hunting, noodling or setting on the banks of area lakes, ponds and rivers, patiently waiting to reel in his next biggest catch. Lannie loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren; and having “Fish Friday” with Oretha.

Survivors include one son, Kevin Warren & wife Camille; daughter, Krystal Rawls & husband Justin; his lifelong friend and mother of his children, Debbie Allison, all of Hennepin; six grandchildren, Chance Warren, Baylee Warren, Chase Warren, Kobee Jones, Kolten Rawls and Kaiden Rawls; two great-grandchildren, Creed and Stokely Warren; four sisters, Judy Cunningtubby & husband Roy Glenn, Katie Harrel & husband Mark, Mona Taylor & husband Leland and Linda Gentry; three brothers, Donnie Warren & wife Sandra, Johnny Lee Warren & wife Brenda and Michael Warren & wife Cindy; three sisters-in-law, Charlotte Warren, Portia Warren and Wanda Warren; one brother-in-law, Dewey Parker; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

In addition to his parents, Lannie was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Warren and Paula Sue Parker; four brothers, Paul Keith Warren, Bobby Jack Warren, Billy Ray Warren and Darrell Warren; one brother-in-law, Terry Gentry; and close friend, Charley Allison.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Mark Harrel, Danny Myers, Sam Myers, Ike Myers, Kevin Birch and Fred Rachel.

Private graveside services will be held at the Hennepin Cemetery with Pastor Roger Sims officiating.

The family wishes to express their most sincere appreciation to Cross Timbers Hospice, Shannon Parker, Tonya Cook, Sonya Grull and Brenda Pence for the exceptional care and devotion given to Lannie during his final days.
