Ladonna Jean Blankinship

Funeral services for LaDonna J. Blankinship will be held 1:00PM, Friday, February 16, 2018 at Hale’s Memorial Chapel in Davis, with Pastor Willard McCartney, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood.
LaDonna was born February 26, 1940 in Ada, OK to the late James Arthur and Margarette Virginia (Jeter) Cradduck. She died Tuesday, February 13, 2018 in Oklahoma City, at the age of 77 years, 11 months and 17 days. LaDonna and Alvin Glenn Blankinship were married on July 13, 1956 in Pauls Valley, OK. He preceded her in death on December 5, 2008.
LaDonna grew up in Ada and Oklahoma City. She was a stay at home mother, caring for her sons for the first 12 years of their lives. She then spent 20 years working as a System Analysts at Tinker Air Force Base. Following retirements, LaDonna and Glenn moved to Davis in 1997. In 2016, she moved to Midwest City, to be near her sons. In her spare time she enjoyed genealogy, reading, knitting, cross stitching and collecting antique glass. LaDonna was known for being a very kind hearted, gentle, caring person with a good sense of humor. She will be deeply missed by those who loved and cared for her.
Survivors include her two sons, Tracy Blankinship & wife Natalya of Edmond and Terry Blankinship of Tecumseh; as well as four grandchildren, Ryan, Stasia, Kalina and Kyle; and one great-granddaughter, Taylor.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tracy Blankinship, Terry Blankinship, Ryan Blankinship, Kirk Newby, Jay Kelly and Tony Wheeler.
