Services for Kenneth Hugene “Kenny” Low will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 21, 2021 at Hale’s Memorial Chapel in Davis with Pastor Willard McCartney, Jr. officiating.
Kenny was born February 29, 1940 in Davis to the late Hughey and Vesta (Oxley) Low. He died Sunday, May 16, 2021 in Sulphur, at the age of 81 years, 2 months & 17 days.
Kenny was a lifelong resident of Murray County, growing up Low Family Farm, east of Davis in the Sunshine Community. He attended both Davis and Sulphur Public Schools, graduating from Sulphur High School in 1959. Kenny spent his life in the farming/ranching industry. In addition to operating the family farm, he also spent 39 years working at the Freeman Livestock Auction in Sulphur, as well as working for the Jameson Ranch of Davis. Kenny had a great love for horses and dogs. He especially loved his dog Missy, whom he always referred to as “my best friend.”
Survivors include his sister, Doris Edgmon & husband Phil of Davis; niece, Kim Knapp of Oklahoma City; nephew, Chris Edgmon & wife Vickie of Chandler, AZ; great-nieces and nephews, Blain Knapp & wife Tess of Oklahoma City, Bailey Knapp & boyfriend Casey Wissinger of Wichita Falls, TX, Max Edgmon & fiancé Jessie Maestas and son Landon, all of Albuquerque, NM, Madi Edgmon of Las Vegas, NV, Rachel Maranville & fiancé Austin Tilley of Pheonix, AZ and Julie Maranville of Las Vegas.
In addition to his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by one sister, Jamie Marcheta Low.
Services are “entrusted to” HALE’S FUNERAL HOME, DAVIS.
