Judy Martha Summers

Judy Martha Summers was born March 16, 1947, in Prairie View, OK, to the late Joel & Rena (Edwards) Cunnish. She died on Monday, August 5, 2024, in Davis, at the age of 77.

Growing up in the Sulphur area, Judy attended Sulphur Public Schools. After marrying, she devoted her life to being a stay-at-home mom, caring for her children. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking and collecting recipes. Her most cherished hobby was shopping, which she only did on days that end with a "Y". Judy was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include her three children, Shelly Summers-Russell of Thackerville, Jeff Summers of Wynnewood, and Shane Summers & wife Lisa, of Davis; seven grandchildren, Casi and Gatlin Summers, Shandy Thompson & husband Zach, Blake Summers & wife Katie, Briston Summers, Chloe Summers and Baylor Summers; and three great-grandchildren, Brate Thompson, Boone Thompson, and Karsyn Summers.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband Don Summers; one sister, Dona Lowrance; five brothers, Jimmy, Emmanuel Bobby, Bill, and Truman Cunnish; and one daughter-in-law, Lisa Wells Summers.
