Joyce grew up in Blackwell, where she attended high school. After she and Buck married, they moved to Southern Oklahoma, where they raised their family. Joyce was a very gentle, kind-hearted lady, that never backed down from hard work. She devoted her life to her family and others she could help along the way. Joyce was an excellent cook, and known for preparing three, home cooked meals every day for her beloved family, and anyone else that happened by at mealtime.
Later in life, Joyce began working at the Davis Senior Citizens Center, where she helped prepare meals. Cooking for others brought her great joy, as well as many cherished memories. After retiring from the Davis Senior Citizens, she continued to frequent the center, where she would enjoy a meal and play games with others. She especially enjoyed winning an occasional game of dominoes against Jim Shultz and LaVerne Pullen. Joyce experienced a full life, blessed by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Joyce was preceded in death by one daughter, Pam Goza; one son, Ben Vineyard; great-granddaughter, Patricia Counts; great-grandson, Damion Reddick; and two brothers, Bill Sprueill & his wife Kathryn, and Wayne Sprueill & his wife Olive.
