Jody Paul Yates, better known as Paul, was born January 9, 1966, in Hollis, OK to Jody Franklin "Joe" and Linday Kay (Watson) Yates. He died on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, in Davis, at the age of 58. Paul and the former Ms. Robyn (Lockhart) Horton were married on April 1, 2023, in Davis.

Paul grew up in Davis, graduating from Davis High School. He spent most of his adult life working in the carpentry construction industry with his father, Joe. Prior to failing health, he owned and operated Arbuckle Tool and Supply in Sulphur.

Survivors include his wife, Robyn; daughter, Becky Andrews; son, Rowdy Yates; his father, Joe Yates & wife Carolyn; three stepchildren, Miranda Cotton, Cory Vaughn, and Cody Horton; brother, John Yates; two grandchildren, Travis Wilhite and Taylor Richardson.

Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Yates on September 17, 2013.

No services are scheduled at this time.

Cremation was "Entrusted To" HALE'S Funeral Home of Davis, OK.
