Jimmy Lynn Hefley

Funeral services for Jimmy Lynn Hefley will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, February 21, 2020 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Sulphur, with Pastor Tom Hefley officiating. Interment will follow at the Green Hill Cemetery in Davis.

Jimmy was born June 29, 1966 in Oklahoma City to the late Joe Bill and Rosemary (McConnell) Hefley. He died Monday, February 17, 2020, west of Davis at the age of 53. Jimmy and the former Ms. Frances Sanders were married on May 20, 2005 in Phoenix, AZ. Jimmy was a very loving and devoted husband.

Jimmy resided in Davis until the age of eight, when his family moved to Phoenix, where he attended Cactus High School. Following high school, he began a career in truck driving. In December 2018, Jimmy and Frances moved to Davis to be near his family. He was employed with C&C Construction of Davis. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, bow hunting, barbequing and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Frances; one son, Christopher Hefley & wife Jennifer of Sulphur; two step-daughters, Jessica Bunnell of Phoenix and Patricia Loustaunan & husband Mike of Blue Ridge, GA; one step-son, Edward Chapman of Houston, TX; two brothers, Joe Glenn Hefley & wife Maria and Jeffrey Brandt Hefley, both of Phoenix; 12 grandchildren; as well as numerous Hefley aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by one brother, Jon Hefley and paternal grandparents, Jim and Mamie Hefley.

Serving as pallbearers are Christopher Hefley, Joe Glenn Hefley, Jeffrey Hefley, Stan Hefley, Darrell Hefley, Bobby Del Hefley, Verlin Hefley, Patrick Hefley, Ed Chapman, and Clint Grinstead. Honorary bearers are the employees of C&C Construction Company.
