Services Jerry Michael “Jerry Mike” Pullen were held 2:00PM, Friday Aug 22, 2014 at the Central Church with Brother Thomas Thompson officiating. A private inurnment was held at the Green Hill Cemetery in Davis.
Jerry Mike was born Apr 28, 1955 in Dallas, TX to Jerry Paul & Leta J. (Bridges) Pullen. He died August 18, 2014 in Davis, at the age of 59 years 4 months & 21 days.
Jerry Mike grew up in Davis. After graduating from Davis High School in 1973, he worked at Dolese Bros for a short while before going to work at Uniroyal. While working at Uniroyal, Jerry Mike worked his way from the entry level employment to the position of a Tech Rep before retiring in 2010.
Jerry Mike was never an idle person. He was always doing some type of enjoyment/hobby such as black & white photography, canoeing, flying airplanes, watching Cardinal Baseball, caring for his cattle or archery. He was a very devoted father. He supported his children in all they did, which that support usually meant his personal involvement. The Pullen Family spent several years sharing their talent of music, with Jerry Mike right in the midst of the group.
Next to family being his most cherished pass time, Jerry Mike loved riding motorcycles. This hobby was one passed down from his father and he in turn passed it down to his sons. The Pullen men shared a common family bond for the love of motorcycles that will live on forever. Jerry Mike, Jerry Paul, Nate, Luke and very dear friend Rob Vernon had planned a fall ride to Angel Fire, NM. In memory of Jerry Mike, the men will honor this planned trip, as a final memorial ride with him.
Jerry Mike is survived by his daughters, Julie Pullen Bartee of Durant and Brandi Harris & husband Matt of Ardmore; two sons, Nate Pullen & wife Lanissa of Sulphur and Luke Pullen & wife Marcy of Lynnhaven, FL; his father, Jerry Paul Pullen of Davis; sister, Kelly Owens & husband Kel, also Davis; 12 grandchildren, Ellee, Chloe, Ethan, Skylar, Mikiala, Grayson, Trinity, Little Nate, Tucker, Cheyenne, Levi & Gunner; as well as nephew Trey Owens and niece, Olivia Owens.
Jerry Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Leta Pullen.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to the Central Church or any charity of your choice.
