Funeral services for Janice Marie Capehart were held 2:00OM, Friday, October 6, 2017 at Hale’s Memorial Chapel in Sulphur with Pastor Van Barkley officiating.

Janice was born September 9, 1953 in Petti John Springs, OK to the late Ben and Era (Brokeshoulder) Wallace. She died Tuesday, October 3, 2017 in Sulphur, at the age of 64. Janice and J.B. Capehart were married on December 20, 1974 in Tishomingo, OK.

Janice grew up in the Sulphur area. Following her 1972 graduation from Roff High School, she attended Murray State College in Tishomingo. Janice spent most of her married life as a stay at home mother, caring for her family. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, crafting and going to garage sales. Janice cherished her family and loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband J.B. Capehart; one daughter, Elisa Hudson & husband Russell; two grandchildren, Russell Hudson III and Shalynn Hudson, all of Sulphur; as well as two brothers, James Wallace & wife Norma and Marvin Wallace & wife Ruby.

In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Datra Marie; four brothers, Tecumseh Wallace, Luke Wallace, Josh Lee Wallace & Vernon Wallace; and four sisters, Geraldine Meely, Marylou Patricia Amos, Annabell Hickman and Evalene Amos.
