Imogene Louise (Sturm) Gayler was born Jul 11, 1924 in Eastland, TX. She went to be with Our Lord and Savior on Dec 19, 2013 in Barstow, CA, at the age of 89.
Survivors include her son, George Gayler & wife Judy; granddaughter, Kerry Camp; great-granddaughter, Sarah Gayler, all of California; sister, Wanda Guess of Ranger, TX; and four brothers, Paul Jo Sturm & Mike Graham, both of Vidor, TX, John Graham of Eastland, TX and Larry Graham of Abilene, TX .
Gene will be laid to rest 2:00PM, Jan 3, 2014 at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Sulphur with Pastor Ronny Guess officiating.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 6:00 PM on Thursday, Jan 2nd at Hale’s Funeral Home of Sulphur.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Crossway First Baptist Church of Sulphur or to Breast Cancer Research, as Gene herself was a cancer survivor.
