Henry Daily LaNoy


Henry was born April 18, 1942 at Wynnewood View to the late Clarence & Dorthy (Cottrell) LaNoy. He died Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at his home in Davis. Henry was 73 years 11 months & 25 days old. He & the former Sandy Fenton were married on August 2, 1974 in Deadwood, SD.

Henry grew up west of Davis and graduated from Woodland High School in 1960. He spent much of his life working as a mechanic. He & Sandy owned an operated the Roady & LaNoy Gulf Station, LaNoy Garage & most recently, Lake Country Towing, all of Davis. Throughout their marriage, they made their home is several other towns including Busby, MT, Sundance, WY, Guernsey, WY and Mountain Home, AR. Henry was an avid fisherman, enjoying the sport immensely. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Wynnewood.

Survivors include his wife Sandy; daughter, Karen Aldridge of Stratford; two sons, Jason LaNoy & Erica of Davis and David Jennings of Oklahoma City; nine grandchildren, Charles, Julie, Mindee, Kirk, Samantha, Kaylyn, Trinity, Aiden and Destinie; four great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Isaiah, Malachi and Josiah; three sisters, Patti Love & husband Lonnie, Verdie Franklin and Linda Mercer; and one brother, Larry LaNoy & wife Callie, all of Davis; two sisters-in-law, Mary LaNoy of Guthrie and Hazel LaNoy of Mustang; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by three infant children; as well as three brothers, C.L., Charles and Wayne LaNoy.
