Heather Anne Conyer

Funeral services for Heather Anne Conyer will be held 10:00AM, Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at the First Free Will Baptist Church, in Sulphur, with Pastor Dick Terry officiating. Interment will follow at the Drake Cemetery, south of Sulphur.

Heather was born August 4, 1980, in Silver City, NM, to James Paul and DeAnn (Ashford) Conyer. She passed from this life on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, in Stratford, at the age of 42.

Heather grew up in Sulphur, graduating from Sulphur High School, Class of 2000. After high school, she spent several years working for Walmart, prior to working as for the Chickasaw Nation as a clerk at the Treasure Valley Casino in Davis and the Artesian Casino in Sulphur. At the time of her death, Heather was working as a private, in-home caregiver.

Heather was an avid reader, always having something new to read in her hands. She had passion for dogs, loving each one she ever saw. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her mother, DeAnn Conyer; two sisters, Everlee Conyer and April Garcia; one brother, Jason Conyer & wife Kassy; as well as several nephews and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Heather was preceded in death by her son, Conyer Jace on June 27, 2011; her father, Paul Conyer; maternal grandparents, Orvil & Peggy Ashford; and paternal grandparents, Burney & Lois Conyer.
