Ella Pearl “Tootsey Parkhill” Davis was born Mar 6, 1928 in Tecumseh, OK to the late Lee and Amanda (Adams) Parkhill. She passed away Friday, Mar 18, 2016 in Sulphur, at the age of 88. She and Joe B. Davis were married on Sept 14, 1946 in Portales, NM and enjoyed 57 years of marriage prior to his death in 2003.

For many years, Ella and Joe made their home in Lubbock, TX, where they raised three daughters, Marijo, Charlotte and Jodi, prior to moving to Sulphur in 1981. Together, they were faithful members of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, both being baptized on Dec 10, 1973 in Lubbock. Ella was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend.

In addition to her parents and husband, Ella was preceded in death by her oldest daughter, Marijo; two brothers, Elmer and Lee Parkhill, Jr; one sister, Juanita Green; as well as two infant brothers, Billy and Rural Parkhill and infant sister, Loraine.

Survivors include two daughters, Charlotte Lunardon & husband Joe Ray and Jodi McMurray, both of Lubbock; son in law, Max Gutierrez; six grandchildren, Jennifer Specht & husband Jim, Michael Lunardon, Scott Harner, Amanda Weems & husband Jason, Jay Brodbeck & wife Michelle and Ashleigh Brodbeck; 12 great-grandchildren, Zachery, Taylher, McKinley & Kara Harner, Mina, Katarina & Tegan Specht, Joshua & Jeremy Lunardon, Zjhon Smothermon, Skyler Brodbeck and Joshua Brodbeck & wife Chelsea; adopted son, Rickey J. Sallee & son, Ricky J. Sallee, Jr; friend and caregiver, Annette Doolan; as well numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and close friends.
