Elizabeth Jean Webb
A celebration of the life of Elizabeth Jean Webb will be held 1:00 PM on Saturday, Nov 9, 2013 at the Murray County Expo Center. Beth was born on Feb 20, 1960 in Anadarko, OK to Robert “Bob” & Jean (Carr) Goodfellow. She died Wednesday, Oct 16, 2013 in Sulphur, at the age of 53. Beth and Carl Leon Webb were married on Feb 20, 1977 in Sulphur.
Beth, or “Tootie” as some called her, moved to the Sulphur area at the age of 14. She spent 30 years working as a Pharmacy Technician for the Arbuckle Memorial Hospital. She excelled in her career and loved the staff she worked with, and they loved her in return. Beth was overwhelmed with the support and kindness she received from her co-workers during her illness. Her family will forever be grateful for their support. The hospital pharmacy has been dedicated in honor of Beth Webb by her co-workers. Above all, Beth gave her heart and energy to her husband, her three children, two grandchildren, mother and her large extended family. Family was her greatest joy. She attended every sporting event, cheering each of her children on. Beth was the heart of family get-togethers. She enjoyed nature and watching from the back porch the birds and squirrels play in her pecan trees.
Survivors include her husband, Leon; daughter, Nichole Elizabeth Buersmeyer & husband Ryan of Edmond; two sons, Jason Carl Webb & wife, Lori of Sulphur and Ryan Nash Webb of Sulphur; two grandchildren, Isabella Jean and Jon Asher Buersmeyer; mother, Jean Carr of Sulphur; brother, Scott Witt & wife Jonnie of Shawnee and sister, Roberta Ann Casey & husband Bill of Georgia.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her father, Bob Goodfellow and brother, Robert Goodfellow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jean Carr Gallery of Sulphur or the Beth Webb Pharmacy at Arbuckle Memorial Hospital.
